Biography
Sarah Shechter is an associate at Burns, Figa & Will, P.C. Her practice focuses on water law, environmental law, and civil litigation.
Prior to joining Burns, Figa & Will, P.C., Ms. Shechter served as law clerk for the Honorable James F. Hartmann and Honorable Roger A. Klein in Water Division No. 1, Greeley, Colorado. Ms. Shechter also interned for the Honorable Allison Eid, Associate Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court, and has had work published in the Colorado Water Law Benchbook.
Ms. Shechter is licensed to practice in the State of Colorado. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association Water, Environmental, and Energy Law Sections, and the Colorado Hazardous Waste Management Society.
While in law school, Ms. Shechter served as Associate Editor of the Colorado Law Review and chair person of the Colorado Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Board.
