Lidstone, Jr., Esq., a shareholder at Burns, Figa & Will, P.C., and author of the one-volume “Securities Law Deskbook” (www.bradfordpublishing.com) will present “Securities Law in Brief” at the American Bar Association’s 2011 GPSolo Fall Meeting & National Solo and Small Firm Conference to be held in Denver, Colorado.
“Securities Law in Brief” will cover topics of concern to solo and small firm practitioners who are not specialized in federal and state securities law. Mr. Lidstone’s presentation will cover topics such as the definition of a security, risks when using a finder, some exemptions available when a security is involved, and federal and state enforcement issues.
